Saturday evening: Back to Hilo

We finished the trip where we started it -- in Hilo, in the same hotel and in the same great ocean-side room we had stayed at eight days prior -- we had completed a full circle of the island. The two photos of the sunset are taken from the same porch as the photo of the sunrise on Day one of the trip (scroll up to the top of this page). Again, it was sunny in Hilo, despite it's repuation as the wettest place on the island. The only rain we had the entire time was while driving through the southern portion of the island.

We gave the hotel our flowers which they placed in their lobby.
